Blue Coast II at Hong Kong Island South (Wong Chuk Hang) – a joint project by CK Asset (01113) and MTR (00066) – is set to launch its first batch of completed units within the week, covering no fewer than 110 units (primarily in Block 3). It will also offer 4-bedroom units via tender, with Centaline Properties rolling out exclusive purchase incentives for the project.
CK Asset’s sales team stated a “dual-channel sales” strategy: price-list units focus on 2-3 bedrooms, and subsequent launches of Block 5 units may see a price increase of at least 5%. Since opening completed showflats last weekend, over 3,000 visitor groups (more than 10,000 person-times) have been recorded, including end-users intending to buy 2+ units – a sign of strong market demand.
Centaline Properties shared market trends and incentives:
- Rental Market Uptrend: Centaline recorded 3,100 rental transactions in July, with an expected 3,500 in August. Hong Kong Island’s rental index rose 2.07% month-on-month (a 12-month high), and is projected to climb further ahead of the new school year.
- Exclusive Purchase Benefits: The first 30 buyers of 2-3 bedroom units who entrust Centaline with resale/rentals will receive a 90-day “Key Ready Smart Protection” (up to HKD 5 million). If the property is rented via Centaline, an additional 1-year “Centaline Rental Guarantee” (HKD 200,000 coverage) will be offered to mitigate investment risks.
Mr. Chan Wing Kit, Centaline’s Asia Pacific Vice Chairman, noted that Blue Coast II’s completed status combined with Hong Kong Island’s rising rents makes it attractive for both occupation and investment, with first-round sales expected to exceed market expectations.
